Business Operations Manager, Local Media

Location: Secaucus, USA; hybrid work with eligible employees working remotely one day per week

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate day-to-day operational initiatives, project plans, timelines, deliverables, meetings, risks, dependencies, and follow-up actions.
• Implement and maintain operational workflows, governance structures, standard operating procedures, trackers, templates, and organizational records.
• Administer the department's Airtable environment, including databases, dashboards, interfaces, automations, workflows, reporting, permissions, and data integrity.
• Develop recurring dashboards, reports, executive presentations, briefing materials, and business updates covering operational priorities, performance, financial activity, and key metrics.
• Support budgets, forecasting, invoices, purchase requests, accruals, expense reconciliation, procurement, vendor management, and contract documentation.
• Oversee Local Media billing quality control and improve bill-back, reconciliation, reporting, and cross-functional operating workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in Business Operations, Project or Program Management, Consulting, Media Operations, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
• Experience developing operational processes, project plans, trackers, reports, documentation, and executive briefing materials.
• Experience supporting financial operations such as budget tracking, invoice processing, expense reporting, procurement, reconciliation, or vendor management.
• Advanced Airtable proficiency and advanced PowerPoint skills; strong Microsoft Excel skills for financial tracking, reporting, forecasting, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Strong project management, communication, analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and collaboration skills, including the ability to handle sensitive or financially significant information.

Nice to have

• Experience in sports, media, entertainment, technology, or another operationally complex organization.
• Experience with Asana or similar project management and collaboration platforms.
