Business License Operations Specialist (AI)

Location: USA - White Plains, NY; regular domestic travel of up to 25% is required, and applicants may be required to appear onsite for interviews.

Salary: $58,600–$100,450 USD annually, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Business License operations, regulations, workflows, products, and customer requirements.
• Lead operational improvement, standardization, process optimization, and change management initiatives across cross-functional teams.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, automation tools, and emerging technologies.
• Develop AI use cases, pilots, business requirements, success metrics, prompt strategies, and decision frameworks.
• Build and analyze operational dashboards, KPIs, performance reports, root-cause analyses, and executive recommendations.
• Lead strategic projects, including project planning, risk management, UAT, process validation, implementation, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Business License, regulatory compliance, service operations, or a related operational field.
• 3+ years leading operational improvement, transformation, or process optimization initiatives.
• Experience using AI, automation, analytics, or emerging technologies in business operations and producing executive-level reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and deliver results in a matrixed environment.
• Must be located in the United States, based in White Plains, New York, and willing to travel domestically up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Business License industry experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Lists, SharePoint, Salesforce, or enterprise workflow systems.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with AI adoption strategies, operational transformation programs, quality programs, or audit initiatives.
• Experience presenting to senior and executive leadership teams.
