Production Reliability Engineer II (Telco/Transmissions)

Location: Scottsdale, with a hybrid work model. Positions in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York follow a hybrid schedule. Candidates must be independently eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Base pay in Phoenix, Arizona: $66,000–$82,000 USD per year, plus discretionary incentive eligibility and benefits.

What you will do

• Maintain the stability, performance, scalability, capacity, and reliability of key business platforms.
• Coordinate deployments, hardware upgrades, patching, certificate renewals, and functional, regression, and performance testing across acceptance, disaster recovery, and production environments.
• Collaborate with product owners, architecture, security, engineering, customer enablement, project managers, and external customers on requirements, priorities, readiness, and implementations.
• Maintain topology and workflow diagrams, business review documents, production readiness checklists, Kanban tasks, and status reports.
• Prepare customer communications for maintenance windows, deployments, disaster recovery exercises, incidents, and other customer-impacting events.
• Identify automation opportunities, support risk-management activities, assist with incident and request triage, and track service-level agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or relevant technology certifications and experience.
• 2–5 or more years of related experience supporting production systems, platform reliability, or technology operations.
• Knowledge of ITIL, ITSM, Agile methodology, system performance, reliability, and platform architecture.
• Ability to connect business needs with system capabilities, analyze risks and alternative solutions, manage priorities, and make strategic decisions.
• For telco/transmissions work: experience with networking and distributed systems, telecom functions, transmission protocols such as TCP/IP and SFTP or Connect:Direct, and Cisco or Juniper networks.
• U.S. work authorization is required, and the role does not provide visa sponsorship. A background and drug screen are required.

• Customer implementation experience.
