Senior Manager, Automation Engineering (AI)

Location: Onsite at the Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; remote applicants are not considered. Full relocation to the United States is available.

Annual salary: $110,000–$220,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead simulation modeling for major capital and engineering investments across fulfillment, transportation, and distribution networks.
• Apply simulation, optimization, Operations Research, statistics, digital twins, AI, and machine learning to complex engineering and operational problems.
• Partner with supply chain, engineering, operations, product, and technology teams to define modeling approaches and deliver actionable insights.
• Translate complex system behavior, model outputs, and analytics into recommendations for engineering, operational, and business leaders.
• Develop reusable modeling standards and best practices that improve the quality and scalability of simulation and digital twin solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical experts while remaining involved in technical work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field plus 4 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with simulation, modeling, Operations Research, statistics, optimization, digital twins, or related quantitative engineering fields.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as FlexSim, Enterprise Dynamics, AnyLogic, Simio, Arena, NVIDIA Omniverse, SimPy, or similar platforms.
• Programming and data analysis experience using Python, SQL, R, or similar tools, along with strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Experience in supply chain, automation, robotics, material handling, logistics, manufacturing, or similar environments.

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering.
