Quality Tech (Manufacturing)

Location: Centralia, Illinois, United States; onsite throughout the shift

Compensation: $20.40–$37.80 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect production samples using standards, dimensional measurements, and functional checks.
• Verify that assembly and production lines follow quality standards, procedures, and specifications.
• Read blueprints, manuals, and technical materials to determine inspection and testing requirements.
• Record inspection results, reworks, waste, and statistical quality data in reports and quality databases.
• Train production staff on quality-control measures and recommend corrective actions.
• Support calibration, test-method development, inspection planning, document control, and production-process improvements.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma; additional qualifications are advantageous.
• Knowledge of production processes, materials, and quality-control standards.
• Ability to use calipers and micrometers, perform precise measurements, and analyze quality data.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 40 pounds when required.
