Shipping Team Leader (Distribution)

hirify.global is a large baking company producing and distributing branded breads, muffins, bagels, cakes, and donuts across the United States.

What you will do

• Lead shipping and distribution shifts to ensure complete, on-time dispatches that meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
• Coordinate priorities, staffing, issue resolution, and communication across incoming shifts, department leadership, and cross-functional partners.
• Manage performance against KPIs for people, quality, safety, service, and cost.
• Coach, onboard, train, and develop associates while promoting ownership, accountability, teamwork, and problem-solving.
• Maintain product quality through inventory management and Product Accountability practices.
• Use tablets and applications including Rever, Shift Guides, and Intelex to support operational processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• At least 2 years of distribution supervisory experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of computers and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the role, with reasonable accommodations available where applicable.
