Global Corporate Controller

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, USA; hybrid work model balancing office and remote work.

Salary: USD 245,000–290,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the global accounting organization across controllership, accounting, audit, tax, financial systems, accounts payable, general ledger, fixed assets, cash, and intercompany accounting.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, consolidation, financial statement preparation, US GAAP audits, and local statutory audits.
• Lead technical accounting research and documentation covering revenue recognition, business combinations, stock-based compensation, foreign currency, debt, and local GAAP matters.
• Build and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting using the COSO framework.
• Develop financial systems, governance, automation, and AI adoption initiatives, including the assessment and deployment of expanded functionality.
• Support M&A due diligence and controllership integration, audit committee materials, FP&A reporting, and the development of a high-performing global team.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Accounting or Finance and a required CPA qualification.
• At least 15 years of accounting experience, including experience as an existing Corporate or Global Controller in a scaled environment.
• Five years of experience in a major public accounting firm; experience with SEC reporting, technical accounting, and internal controls is highly preferred.
• NetSuite experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting and reporting software, with experience scaling accounting operations and implementing process improvements.
• Experience managing global teams and stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.

• Experience in both publicly traded and private-equity-backed companies with revenue over $300 million.
