Technical Accounting & Reporting Senior Manager

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; hybrid schedule with two days in the Denver office each week.

Salary: $154,377–$192,971.25 USD annually

What you will do

• Research, analyze, and document complex technical accounting issues and prepare accounting memos and supporting calculations under US GAAP.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures and lead implementation of significant changes.
• Coordinate with external valuation specialists on 409A, intangible asset, and equity award valuations.
• Collaborate with Accounting Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal, HR, external auditors, and consultants to operationalize accounting guidance.
• Support external reporting readiness, complex disclosures, process improvements, and SOX-compliant internal controls.
• Train and mentor team members on technical accounting topics and emerging standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a required CPA license.
• 7+ years of combined Big 4 public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience at a SaaS or high-growth technology company.
• Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting and drafting memos for complex, non-routine transactions.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks such as SOX.
• Experience supporting organizations with increasing external reporting, audit, or regulatory complexity.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools, with Netsuite and Workiva preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience participating in an S-1 filing or IPO project team.
• Experience using automation and AI tools to improve efficiency.
