Vice President, Global Controller (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead and scale global accounting organization covering GL, financial reporting, technical accounting, revenue recognition, consolidations, AP/AR, payroll, tax, treasury, and T&E.
• Own monthly/quarterly/year-end close processes, ensure US GAAP compliance, and mature controls toward public-company standards including SOX and PCAOB readiness.
• Serve as executive owner for global audits and primary contact for external auditors.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Sales, Product, People, IT, and executives on accounting, operations, and strategic decisions including acquisitions.
• Champion technology-enabled accounting with automation, AI workflows, ERP evolution, and scalable finance systems.

Requirements

• 15+ years progressive accounting leadership in high-growth tech/SaaS/fintech
• Experience scaling global accounting across entities/regions, deep US GAAP expertise in complex areas like SaaS revenue, equity, acquisitions.
• Public-company readiness including PCAOB audits, SOX, SEC governance.
• Operational leadership scaling teams/processes/controls, ERP/finance systems like NetSuite.
• Strong business acumen, executive presence, team building; BA/BS in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS, fintech, crypto, regulated industries.
• Hands-on with NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, FloQast, Salesforce.
