Controller (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the NY Metro (US) area

Compensation: $160,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the month-end close process through analytical reviews and adjusting entries.
• Own recurring technical accounting workbooks and documentation under ASC 340, 842, 718, 606, and 326.
• Implement and refine SOX internal control procedures as the company scales.
• Drive finance initiatives including NetSuite optimization, process automation, and special accounting projects.
• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors and tax advisors.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting, ideally covering the US and at least one of the UK, Canada, Germany, or Japan.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and ASC standards.
• Experience with Excel, G Suite, and NetSuite.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
