Regional EHS Manager

Location: USA; preferred locations include Salt Lake City, Utah; Casa Grande, Arizona; Kent, Washington; or Stamford, Connecticut. The role involves 40–60% travel.

Salary: $118,317–$202,830 per year for Washington state.

What you will do

• Serve as the regional subject matter expert for occupational safety and Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Develop and monitor EHS policies, procedures, goals, metrics, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Lead safety risk identification, assessment, mitigation, auditing, and compliance activities across regional facilities.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and manufacturing teams on new processes, equipment, and capital projects, including HAZOPs, ORIs, and Process Risk Assessments.
• Implement risk-reduction initiatives, including FM Global recommendations and engineered process safety solutions.
• Deliver PSM training and support EHS reporting systems and performance indicators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, industrial, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of relevant EHS, process safety, or manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, occupational safety, process safety principles, risk mitigation, and engineering controls.
• Experience leading Process Hazard Analyses, root cause investigations, and complex projects.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, qualifying temporary residents, refugees, or individuals granted asylum.

Nice to have

• Professional certification or designation such as P.E., P. Eng., CSP, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with global EHS regulations and standards, including COMAH and SEVESO.
