Environmental Health and Safety Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at a manufacturing site in St. Louis Park, Minnesota; conditions list Minneapolis, 55426. U.S. citizenship is required due to ITAR requirements.

Salary: $113,900–$117,600 per year.

What you will do

• Represent EHS on the site management team and lead the site EHS Steering Team.
• Manage permits, regulatory reports, EHS programs, emergency services, and security-service integration.
• Evaluate site EHS performance and develop improvement plans aligned with business operations.
• Oversee industrial hygiene programs, occupational monitoring, injury and illness recordkeeping, and case management.
• Lead compliance projects, internal audit planning, field audits, and continuous-improvement activities.
• Provide guidance to employees and site leadership while promoting a zero-incident safety culture.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required due to ITAR requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in basic science, a technical discipline, EHS Management, or a related field; equivalent EHS experience may be considered.
• At least 4–5 years of site-operations experience; manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. federal and Minnesota occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations is preferred.
• Leadership, prioritization, independent-work, networking, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications; experience with Cority or ETQ Reliance is preferred.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing-site EHS experience.
• Experience with Cority industrial hygiene software or ETQ Reliance.
• Knowledge of Minnesota regulatory requirements.
