Area Electrical Business Class Lead

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; Building Engineering Services Design Center

Salary: $155,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead engineers and designers delivering complex electrical engineering projects across healthcare, education, science, justice, and technology markets.
• Manage technical and operational activities, project assignments, schedules, budgets, scopes, and scope changes for the electrical discipline.
• Coordinate electrical work with mechanical, structural, civil, architecture, operations, and marketing groups.
• Build client relationships and support marketing, proposals, and client development activities.
• Hire, mentor, train, and evaluate employees while setting goals and coordinating workload across business group locations.
• Maintain electrical design standards, monitor code and regulation changes, and perform quality control reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least 10 years of experience.
• Professional or engineering registration with related technical experience.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
• Ability to collaborate with business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers.
