Location: St. Paul, Rochester, St. Cloud, or Duluth, Minnesota, United States. Candidates may relocate to an available location. Employees residing in Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Puerto Rico cannot be hired at this time.
Base compensation: $140,000–$170,000 annually, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do
- Lead, mentor, develop, recruit, and retain a team of approximately 10 electrical engineers and designers.
- Serve as the electrical discipline lead on complex municipal and industrial projects.
- Provide technical oversight for power distribution, controls, arc flash, lighting, backup systems, and quality assurance.
- Support project managers with scope, schedule, budget, staffing forecasts, and technical risk mitigation.
- Contribute to proposals, client interviews, client relationships, cross-selling, and electrical discipline growth.
- Collaborate with water/wastewater, architecture, and civil teams to integrate electrical services into project planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer license.
- Experience leading electrical disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
- Demonstrated team leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice to have
- 10+ years of experience in industrial or municipal system design.
- Water and wastewater facility design experience.
- SKM proficiency in short circuit, load flow, and arc flash analysis.
- Proposal development and client engagement experience.
- Experience mentoring early-career engineers.
