Location: United States of America

Salary: USD $97,300–$165,400 per year, with potential additional merit increases, annual bonuses, sales incentives, and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Own technical presales outcomes and serve as the senior technical relationship owner for assigned partners.
• Lead discovery, solution shaping, architecture validation, qualification, and close support for complex AWS presales engagements.
• Design, validate, or guide AWS solutions across infrastructure, security, networking, identity, and resiliency.
• Develop, review, and approve Statements of Work, ensuring clear scope and technical feasibility.
• Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks early in the sales cycle.
• Mentor Sales Engineers and represent partner technical standards and roadmaps internally.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in engineering, architecture, or sales engineering roles.
• 6–8+ years designing or validating AWS architectures, or equivalent experience.
• Prior hands-on or design-level AWS experience and knowledge of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Broad knowledge of cloud infrastructure, security, networking, identity, resiliency, and architectural governance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• One or more relevant AWS certifications, or willingness to achieve them.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification.
