Sr Director, Implementations (MedTech)

Location: Irvine, California, United States; primarily office-based with domestic and global travel up to 40% to customer sites and regional implementation teams.

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year plus benefits and eligibility for up to a 25% annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the US Field Implementations organization, including Clinical Specialists and Automation Engineers, from contract signing through go-live and post-live validation.
• Own implementation KPIs, operating plans, schedule adherence, quality, cost, scope, and time to revenue.
• Align implementation planning with Sales, manage forecasts and resource plans, and coordinate internal capacity with IQVIA surge support.
• Oversee clinical installation, configuration, validation, and hospital automation deployments across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VLAN environments.
• Implement the Danaher Business System using Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Daily Management, and Bowler metrics.
• Develop implementation systems, data integrity, partner networks, budgets, and the capabilities of global project management, clinical, and technical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; a technical discipline is preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in implementation, project management, or deployment operations leadership, including global or multi-region scope.
• 5+ years of experience leading leaders and managing large or geographically distributed teams.
• Demonstrated accountability for delivery at scale across schedule, quality, cost, and time to revenue.
• Experience with complex project delivery in hospital or hospital-like environments and with technical and clinical field teams.
• Experience with network-based systems installation, third-party delivery partners, surge capacity, and regulated industries such as MedTech or healthcare technology.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree and PMP certification.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Danaher Business System, or equivalent continuous improvement experience.
• Networking or clinical certifications such as CCNA or CWNA, or hands-on hospital automation experience.
• Experience reducing deployment cycle time or time to revenue.
