Senior Director, Operational Strategic Initiatives (Healthcare)

Salary: $117,400–$176,100 annually

What you will do

• Lead strategic operational and technology projects from planning through implementation and go-live.
• Manage multiple concurrent enterprise-wide initiatives, maintaining timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
• Implement patient access solutions covering insurance verification, coverage discovery, fax management, call center technologies, and related systems.
• Optimize operational workflows and front-end revenue cycle performance with internal leaders, vendors, technology partners, and clients.
• Monitor and improve denials reduction, point-of-service collections, labor efficiency, and cost-to-collect metrics.
• Provide leadership to assigned team members, including oversight of one analyst, and serve as a strategic advisor on operational transformation.

Requirements

• Significant healthcare revenue cycle operations experience focused on Patient Access and/or Pre-Access.
• Proven experience leading complex operational or technology implementations.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, firm deadlines, risks, and multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong organizational, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently, influence stakeholders across organizational levels, and drive results with minimal oversight.
• Experience working effectively in a remote environment; role is remote nationwide in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with revenue cycle technology vendors such as Waystar, Experian, or similar organizations.
• Familiarity with hirify.global systems, processes, and client operations.
• CRCR certification or willingness to obtain it after hire.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
