Associate Technical Integration Specialist

Location: Piscataway, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 per year, based on experience level.

What you will do

• Support standardized customer and partner system integration activities, including requirements gathering, configuration confirmation, testing coordination, and initial troubleshooting.
• Review basic system interactions and data flows involving APIs, HTTP requests and responses, authentication, XML, JSON, structured data, and relational databases.
• Perform API and integration testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Collect troubleshooting information such as error messages, timestamps, screenshots, logs, and request/response payloads.
• Coordinate with customers, business teams, project managers, developers, and cross-functional teams across the US and China.
• Track project timelines, tasks, owners, dependencies, risks, blockers, and next actions while maintaining technical documentation and escalating unresolved issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational knowledge of IT systems, software applications, system integration, and data exchange.
• Basic understanding of APIs, HTTP, XML, JSON, structured data, relational databases, and SQL.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese are required.
• Project coordination skills covering documentation, task tracking, prioritization, stakeholder follow-up, and status reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience or internship in technical support, SaaS implementation, system integration, customer onboarding, or technical project coordination.
• Experience supporting technical implementation or onboarding from requirements gathering through testing and completion.
• Experience with Postman, SQL tools, Jira, or similar tools.
• Basic coding or scripting knowledge in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with PunchOut, cXML, EDI, procurement platforms, or other B2B system integrations.
