IP Source Code Reviewer (Legaltech)

Location: Remote within the United States (requires regular travel to client sites Monday-Friday)

Salary: $65,000 - $77,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct source code reviews in various languages including C, C++, C#, Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Travel onsite to client locations across the US to perform secure code reviews.
• Analyze software source code to prepare detailed Evidence of Use reports for patent litigation cases.
• Consult with attorneys, litigators, and technical experts to support technical infringement theories.
• Develop function call summaries demonstrating how key functionalities are performed by the software.
• Take full ownership of technical communications and deliverables for clients.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States to accommodate regular onsite travel.
• Strong knowledge of one or more languages: Java, C++, C, C#, Objective-C, Python, or JavaScript.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Excellent content writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex and cutting-edge technologies in an easy-to-understand manner.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of hardware programming languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
• Experience in Software Architecture, application development, and debugging.
• Ability to undertake software/firmware reverse engineering.
• Knowledge of web, mobile, and enterprise software products.
