Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst

Location: Denver, Colorado, USA. Hybrid client-site schedule with regular onsite visits each week based on engagement requirements; onsite work at a client location or company office may be required.

Salary: $115,000–$150,000 per year, with performance-based bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Work with business and technical stakeholders to define complex solutions and clarify business objectives.
• Lead requirements elicitation through interviews, workshops, and collaborative working sessions.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for architecture, development, testing, and deployment.
• Partner with architects, engineers, and product teams on data models, APIs, integrations, interfaces, and system workflows.
• Analyze data, document mappings and dependencies, and perform current-state, future-state, and gap analysis.
• Write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items, and support integration, system, and UAT testing.

Requirements

• 10–12+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical Architect, or in a similar role supporting enterprise-scale IT initiatives.
• Consulting or client-facing advisory experience, plus 3–5+ years of people, team, or delivery leadership.
• Experience with multi-system implementations, enterprise applications, complex integrations, and the full software delivery lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, data flows, cloud architectures, and visual system modeling.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries and perform data analysis, data mapping, requirements traceability, and testing validation.
• Experience with Agile requirements management and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital product development, product-centric delivery, cloud or application modernization, and enterprise transformation.
• Experience in regulated industries such as energy, utilities, infrastructure, financial services, healthcare, or the public sector.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Salesforce, system architecture, object-oriented design, or software engineering practices.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Scrum, Product Owner, CBAP, or PMI-PBA.
