Logistics Analyst - Seasonal

What you will do

• Coordinate and oversee drivers, trucks, containers, and daily routing activities.
• Analyze route data and update route plans to improve standardization, capacity, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Monitor routes in real time, resolve in-transit issues, and ensure pickups and deliveries are completed on time.
• Manage missed pickups, service exceptions, customer commitments, and communication with affected customers.
• Monitor driver safety, asset security, performance concerns, and adherence to assigned disposal sites.
• Review swing-route opportunities, disposal plans, load capacity, and driver productivity goals with operations leadership.

Requirements

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in a customer-facing position.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and time-sensitive tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Ability to understand route sequencing, logistics data, and operational requirements.
• Two years of experience in dispatching or a similar leadership role preferred.
