Network Fleet Analyst

What you will do

• Analyze Star Fleet team-driver capacity and determine the most effective use of dedicated assets.
• Plan reloads, round trips, return loads, repositioning, and multi-leg freight movements.
• Match available and future capacity with district outbound demand across assigned territories.
• Monitor inbound, outbound, committed, and empty truck status, trailer pools, pickups, and deliveries.
• Maintain market playbooks, capacity outlooks, reload opportunities, and utilization reporting.
• Support service provider fleet requests, freight payment invoice audits, and operational issue escalation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Transportation, or Logistics, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. Department of Transportation regulations and U.S. geography.
• Strong decision-making and communication skills for logistical and reload planning.
• Understanding of reload economics, deadhead exposure, dwell risk, hub-and-relay staging, and driver or carrier preferences.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a time-sensitive control tower environment and type at 35–40 words per minute.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel or other data-analysis tools.

Nice to have

• Two to three years of customer service or transportation experience.
• Experience in direct-asset truckload, dedicated fleet planning, team-driver execution, expedited freight, or high-value truckload.
• Familiarity with U.S., Canadian, and Mexican truckload markets.
• Experience building lane guides, market playbooks, or utilization reports.
