Logistics Security Analyst

Location: Onsite work at a Cargo Signal office in Federal Way, Seattle, Bellevue, or Lynnwood, Washington, USA. Weekend, holiday, and evening shifts may be required for the 24/7/365 operation.

Expected base pay: $23–25 per hour

What you will do

• Monitor customer shipments, cargo risk events, emergency alarms, and exceptions using Cargo Signal visibility software and hardware.
• Communicate with customers and service providers by email, phone, and chat, providing shipment information, service details, and basic troubleshooting.
• Enter, verify, and maintain accurate customer, order, shipment, and interaction data in monitoring systems.
• Track and trace shipments using internal and external applications, maps, GPS trackers, and telephone or email communication.
• Resolve customer issues within established guidelines, escalate complex problems, and report customer feedback to management.
• Follow operating procedures, confidentiality requirements, company policies, and incident response protocols.

Requirements

• Excellent typing skills with a high level of speed and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, web-based map software, GPS trackers, and cellular networks.
• Experience in logistics, including air, ocean, trucking, risk management, in-transit security, or temperature control.
• Reliable and punctual attendance, a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate incomplete information.
• Willingness to work weekend, holiday, and evening shifts in a 24/7/365 command center.
