Experienced Analytical Chemist (Pharma)

Location: Oakdale, Minnesota, United States; onsite laboratory and office work. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Salary: $55,000–$70,000 per year.

What you will do

• Perform and oversee intermediate to complex chemistry and biochemistry analyses of materials, products, and devices.
• Operate, prepare, maintain, and calibrate analytical laboratory equipment and samples.
• Review, interpret, document, and present testing results, operational data, and trend analyses.
• Audit tests, equipment, procedures, and data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide technical guidance to staff and leadership and train others on policies and procedures.
• Support chemistry and biochemistry projects, including timelines, budgets, materials, staffing, and management updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field, plus 2–5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of chemistry or biochemistry principles, practices, techniques, and problem-solving methods.
• Experience with laboratory testing tools, analytical equipment, and calibration processes.
• Ability to interpret and apply applicable laws, codes, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation and reports, deliver presentations, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work in laboratory and office environments with potential exposure to chemicals, fumes, gases, and noxious odors.
