What you will do

• Prepare construction documents, permit packages, design calculations, technical reports, and feasibility studies.
• Create drawings, layouts, and models using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, HydroCAD, Hydraflow Hydrographs, and ArcGIS.
• Conduct site investigations and develop solutions for grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion and sediment control.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to secure permits and approvals.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, clients, and other engineers throughout the site development lifecycle.
• Support project managers by monitoring budgets, schedules, deliverables, and construction services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Three years of experience in civil/site design, land development, or a related field.
• Familiarity with grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion and sediment control.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Engineer-in-Training certification or successful completion of the FE exam is preferred but not required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ArcGIS, Hydraflow Hydrographs, HydroCAD, or Maryland permitting processes.
• Baltimore City project experience.
• Engineer-in-Training certification.
