Senior Research Associate, DNA Encoded Library Technology

Salary: $119,000–$139,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and validate novel DNA-encoded library builds.
• Develop DNA-compatible chemical transformations to expand DEL chemical space.
• Construct DEL libraries for in-house library production.
• Collaborate with external partners on DEL synthesis and hit follow-up strategies.
• Participate in DEL screening, data analysis, machine learning, hit optimization, automation, and technology development.
• Present results, document workflows, and support scientific and strategic planning within Discovery Chemistry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Medicinal Chemistry.
• Five years of industrial experience; title is determined by experience.
• Strong background in synthetic organic chemistry.
• Hands-on experience synthesizing DNA-encoded libraries and familiarity with the overall DEL workflow.
• Experience analyzing and purifying DNA conjugates using LCMS and HPLC.
• Legal entitlement to work for any employer in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Drug discovery experience, including drug design, synthesis, SAR, and hit-to-lead optimization.
• Experience with high-throughput analytical and purification systems for DEL applications.
• Experience with molecular biology tools such as PCR, qPCR, and Western blot.
