What you will do

• Design and synthesize small molecules with optimized biological and physicochemical properties.
• Conduct science-based and computer-aided discovery of bioactive and bio-functional molecules.
• Collaborate with Biology, Computational Science, AI, and Machine Learning teams to accelerate discovery.
• Work with Clinical Research Organizations to synthesize compound libraries and specific molecules.
• Analyze and present chemistry and structure–activity relationship data at meetings and conferences.
• Prepare invention disclosures, publication manuscripts, and laboratory reports.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of post-PhD experience, or equivalent, in organic or medicinal chemistry within an academic, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong synthetic and analytical chemistry skills, including multi-step synthesis and characterization of complex molecules.
• Knowledge of modern medicinal chemistry and lead optimization, including multi-parameter bioactivity and physicochemical property optimization.
• Familiarity with molecular modeling and computational tools for bioactive small-molecule discovery.
• Strong communication, collaboration, innovation, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
