Staff Strategic Planner (Semiconductor Industry)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite only

Annual pay range: $145,000–$185,000, plus eligibility for bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and internal performance metrics.
• Support long-range planning, commercial strategy, M&A, and technology evaluation for the Power Product Group.
• Plan, execute, and monitor strategic projects and multiple workstreams.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communicate strategic priorities.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders and executives.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of semiconductor industry experience, with a focus on corporate strategy or a related function.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong critical thinking, business judgment, analytical, quantitative, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and/or data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Ability to work onsite in San Jose, California; remote work is not available.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL and financial modeling.
• Management consulting background.
