Application Specialist (Field Service Engineer) – Industrial Coating Systems

Location: Geleen, Netherlands — Remote; approximately 80% travel across the EMEA region, including driving and air travel to customer locations.

What you will do

• Provide technical support and application expertise to customers across EMEA.
• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and support industrial coating and dispensing systems at customer sites.
• Conduct equipment audits and recommend improvements to manufacturing processes, spare parts, upgrades, and services.
• Train customer operators and maintenance teams on equipment use and maintenance.
• Build customer relationships and collaborate with sales, engineering, customer service, and technical support teams across Europe and North America.
• Plan customer visits and maintain service documentation, reports, and CRM records.

Requirements

• Electrical qualification or electrician certification.
• At least 3 years of technical experience or an equivalent technical background.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Fluent English required.
• Willingness to travel extensively and a valid driving license.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
