Field Service Engineer (M/F/D) (Semiconductor)

Location: Thiendorf, Germany; customer service across the EMEA service area, with willingness to travel and home office flexibility.

hirify.global develops and manufactures semiconductor test and measurement products, including wafer probers, MEMS probe cards, metrology systems, and quantum cryogenic measurement systems.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites across EMEA.
• Install, commission, test, and complete final acceptance of probers, accessories, products, and assemblies.
• Prepare commissioning protocols and acceptance reports.
• Provide customer training, telephone support, troubleshooting, and on-site repairs.
• Implement and monitor technical escalations while coordinating with other departments on product improvements.
• Process, document, invoice, and control work orders, customer orders, and service calls according to company guidelines.

Requirements

• Engineer or technician qualification in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a similar field.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience in a similar field service role.
• Detail-oriented working style, accuracy, punctuality, strong problem-solving skills, and good interpersonal abilities.
• Good written and verbal German and English communication skills.
• Good knowledge of common MS Office applications.
• Valid car driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites are required.
