Sr Salesforce Business Analyst (Salesforce)

Location: Raleigh, NC, United States; based in the Raleigh office three days per week

Base salary: $119,000–$122,000 USD per year, with potential bonus, commissions, and additional benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with leadership to translate strategic goals into a sequenced Salesforce roadmap and high-impact backlog.
• Own roadmap item delivery from intake through launch while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Lead discovery with Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Marketing, Legal, and Operations teams.
• Write clear, testable Jira user stories with acceptance criteria, context, and edge cases.
• Refine the backlog, facilitate bi-weekly sprint planning, and provide scope guidance to developers.
• Conduct UAT, review completed work, and maintain Salesforce data integrity during month-end and quarter-close.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a Salesforce Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong Jira backlog management skills.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including objects, flows, validation rules, page layouts, and security.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and communicate with stakeholders and developers.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and facilitating sprint ceremonies.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Admin, Business Analyst, or Advanced Admin certification.
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or quote-to-cash workflows.
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Workato, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
