UniData Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must be authorized to work for any US employer

Salary: $70,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the full software development lifecycle for new and existing applications.
• Develop and maintain solutions using the UniData database environment and MultiValue Pick BASIC.
• Analyze customer needs, define problem statements, and collaborate with senior and principal engineers.
• Design software architecture and develop reliable technical solutions in an Agile environment.
• Write and execute tests, document applications, identify bugs, and support defect resolution.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, automate routine tasks, and enhance solution delivery.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
• Experience with UniData and MultiValue Pick BASIC.
• Knowledge of DesignBais and experience using AI tools within the UniData ecosystem.
• Experience developing and integrating APIs and working with EDI file formats.
• Familiarity with the PrismHR application.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
