Application Development Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote; Seattle, San Francisco, or Mountain View, United States. Hiring is available in any country where hirify.global has a legal entity.

United States base salary: $149,400–$195,050 in Zone A, $134,460–$175,545 in Zone B, or $124,002–$161,892 in Zone C, annually.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain custom integrations, middleware, and webhooks connecting third-party SaaS tools with internal systems.
• Evaluate software requests, monitor usage metrics, and rationalize the enterprise SaaS portfolio.
• Write automation scripts and build data pipelines for user provisioning, budget and wallet token allocation, and cross-platform synchronization.
• Resolve complex integration failures with external vendors and internal IT teams.
• Manage software vendors, negotiate support contracts, and enforce service-level agreements.
• Track software licensing compliance, seat utilization, and cost-center budgets while translating business requests into technical requirements.

Requirements

• Experience designing and deploying application integrations and APIs.
• Experience with developer AI integrations such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Cursor APIs.
• Experience with enterprise usage tracking frameworks, automation, and data pipelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot system failures and coordinate with vendors, IT, procurement, and development teams.
• Knowledge of software licensing, seat utilization, budgeting, and SLA management.
