Press Team Lead (Manufacturing)

Location: Solon, Ohio, United States; onsite, second shift

What you will do

• Provide backup to the Supervisor and serve as the primary contact for production team members.
• Maintain uninterrupted production flow by coordinating materials, information, staffing adjustments, equipment setup, and operational support.
• Guide, train, and develop employees on standard work, machine adjustments, product quality, and department procedures.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and ensure accurate productivity reports, metrics, and other required documentation.
• Lead and participate in Lean activities including MDI, 5S, housekeeping, waste elimination, and Kaizen.
• Promote safe work practices, report hazards and incidents, participate in safety inspections and the Safety Committee, and maintain First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 3–5 years of production and/or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems for production lead roles.
• Knowledge of assigned production or warehouse operations, safety policies, and compliance procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
