Test Technician I/II (HVAC)

Location: Schofield, Wisconsin, United States; onsite

Salary: $22.04–$30.22 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble prototype units to print specifications and fabricate parts as needed.
• Prepare units and test stands for evaluation.
• Conduct testing in areas such as air, sound, vibration, balance, motors, high temperature, and structural performance.
• Document and provide test results to internal customers and external agencies such as AMCA and UL.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance on test stands.
• Follow project timelines and coordinate testing schedules with internal customers.

Requirements

• Test Technician I: 0–2 years of relevant work experience; Test Technician II: 1–3 years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read blueprints and operate hand tools.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Completion of internal tow motor safety and electrical safety courses.
• A two-year associate degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
