QC Testing Technician I (HVAC)

Location: Redmond, Oregon, United States; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Perform electrical and software tests on large HVAC equipment with exposed voltages up to 1000V AC and/or DC.
• Inspect and test electrical components, document test records, and evaluate test data accurately.
• Create, document, and update test procedures.
• Use manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot, solve problems, and determine effective solutions.
• Lead pre- and post-test assembly and disassembly across all voltage classes.
• Support engineering staff and supervise, mentor, or train technicians and crews as required.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of fan systems, pumps, compressors, VFDs, PLCs, and electromechanical controls.
• Ability to work independently and follow safe work practices, industry best practices, and certification requirements.
• Effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for up to 95% of working hours.
• Ability to periodically work in manufacturing conditions involving seasonal heat and cold, dust, and some chemical fumes.
