Laboratory Technician - Organic Prep - 3rd Shift, M-F

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite, 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday–Friday. Training runs from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday, for approximately four weeks.

Salary: USD 17.75 per hour plus a 10% shift differential.

What you will do

• Perform routine laboratory cleaning, housekeeping, and chemical waste disposal according to approved methods.
• Prepare samples, reagents, spikes, and extractions using standard laboratory techniques.
• Wash, inventory, and prepare glassware and specialized equipment, including equipment for shipment when required.
• Enter laboratory data accurately into LIMS and maintain current training documentation.
• Complete assigned QC samples, including MDL, LOD/LOQ, and PT samples, on schedule.
• Follow SOPs and health, safety, and quality assurance requirements while supporting other laboratory areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work with chemicals, laboratory glassware, and specialized equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.
