Location: Denver, Colorado, United States — 100 E. Speer Blvd at Tribune-KDVR/KWGN

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year, based on experience

What you will do

• Pitch distinctive stories that generate audience interest and develop enterprise content.
• Cover breaking news with urgency and conduct live shots.
• Build and maintain relationships with community sources.
• Research, produce, and deliver compelling reports with strong storytelling and production value.
• Create content for the station website and digital channels.
• Multitask across platforms and perform additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• MMJ experience is required, including at least three years in an MMJ role.
• At least four years of journalism experience is required.
• Ability to work accurately, solve problems quickly, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to multitask under pressure and work a flexible schedule, including mornings, holidays, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• College degree in Journalism, Communications, or Broadcasting is preferred; equivalent experience is required.
• Strong storytelling, creative delivery, teamwork, and reporting skills.
