IT Enterprise Applications Administrator (Atlassian/AI)

Location: Garden Grove, California, United States; onsite role.

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own administration of Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian Guard, including licensing, provisioning, permissions, and organization-level security policies.
• Design and build advanced Jira workflows, automation rules, custom fields, templates, and JQL-driven views.
• Develop integrations using the Atlassian REST API, webhooks, and Forge or Connect apps.
• Select, deploy, and administer an enterprise AI gateway to monitor and control LLM usage.
• Develop AI usage governance covering acceptable use, data handling, vendor review, and model risk in partnership with Security and Legal.
• Document configurations in Confluence and train end users and administrators across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years administering Atlassian Cloud products at scale, including Jira and Confluence in a multi-team organization.
• Advanced Jira and Confluence administration, including workflow and permission schemes, automation, JQL, custom fields, spaces, and templates.
• Experience with Atlassian Guard, organization-level security, the Atlassian REST API, and/or Forge or Connect integrations.
• Hands-on experience with AI gateways or LLM proxies and AI usage governance frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Atlassian certifications.
• Scripting experience with Python or JavaScript.
