Jira Administration Engineer

Location: Dearborn, Michigan, United States. Hybrid role; candidates within commuting distance of a hirify.global hub may be required to work onsite four or more days per week. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $86,600–$144,900 per year.

What you will do

• Modernize Jira forms, workflows, templates, and design processes for critical ticket types and program activities.
• Maintain Jira project standards, including Definition of Done criteria, custom fields, workflow practices, and project consolidation.
• Manage Jira backlogs, sprint cadences, user access troubleshooting, and process support.
• Design and maintain dashboards for Technical Design Reviews, Business Process Reviews, and specialized programs.
• Build interactive Power BI visualizations and use Power Query to combine data sources for program timing, milestones, and KPI reporting.
• Integrate Jira dashboards into Confluence and investigate direct source-system integrations for advanced roll-up reporting.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian products.
• At least 3 years of experience with Python, Java, or C# programming.
• At least 3 years of experience with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable reporting tools.
• At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office and enterprise systems tools for issue tracking and presentations.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Strong organizational, leadership, interpersonal, technical, and problem-solving skills.
