US Procurement Lead (Sr. Manager)

Location: Piscataway, New Jersey, United States; onsite four days per week with remote flexibility on Fridays

Estimated compensation: $150,000–$160,000 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Manage service, CapEx, and material purchasing activities for the company.
• Design procurement strategies focused on cost control, savings, sourcing efficiency, and vendor management.
• Lead cross-functional teams in executing procurement processes and plans.
• Handle price negotiations, contract signing, order fulfillment, and on-time delivery management.
• Resolve supplier delivery, pricing, and quality issues while optimizing the supplier base.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of six Purchasing Specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in purchasing, operations, or supply chain, preferably in a pharmaceutical or CRO environment.
• Strong proficiency with SAP/S2P purchasing systems.
• Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Leadership ability, accountability, self-discipline, and motivation.

• Experience implementing an S2P system.
