Procurement Group Manager (Aerospace)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Base salary: $150,000–$195,000 USD per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead procurement for hirify.global-designed hardware manufactured by contract manufacturers and external production partners.
• Develop, document, and execute sourcing strategies focused on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
• Manage supplier relationships, supply agreement compliance, onboarding, performance, and exit processes.
• Track supplier quality, delivery, service, and cost through performance dashboards and scorecards.
• Drive cost reductions and resolve production challenges in partnership with Production, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Program Management, and Supply Chain.
• Analyze market and delivery conditions, source new components, and expand supply capacity for new products, plant expansion, and sustainability objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of purchasing or supply chain experience, including at least 2 years at the management level.
• Expertise in procurement operations, purchasing and accounting practices, contract negotiation, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, project leadership, and team-building skills.
• Ability to drive change, develop people, and collaborate across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Styling, and Finance.
• U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Engineering.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments and supplier scorecard implementation.
