Procurement Manager (MedTech)

Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States; hybrid attendance required under the JNJ Flex policy. Up to 10% domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Salary: $104,000–$156,310 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and execute category procurement strategies for CSS materials and electronic systems suppliers.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers while ensuring quality, compliance, and reliable delivery.
• Lead contract and pricing negotiations, manage procurement risk, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Identify innovative suppliers to support new product development and the EP/NV growth strategy.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, quality assurance, finance, and other internal stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team and help shape the organization structure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 4 years in procurement focused on components and raw material suppliers.
• Procurement experience with components and products related to the electrophysiology industry.
• Experience developing strategic procurement plans in a manufacturing environment and managing supplier contracts.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience developing teams and shaping organizational structures; strong Credo values.

Nice to have

• Experience across category sourcing, new product development sourcing, or other sourcing areas.
• APICS, ISM, or Six Sigma certification.
• Adaptability in rapidly changing priorities.
