Senior Financial Analyst - Gross to Net & Pricing (MedTech)

Location: Based in Raritan, New Jersey, or Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; up to 5% travel may be required.

Salary: $79,000–$127,650 base pay annually.

What you will do

• Provide finance leadership and decision support for components of Ethicon’s approximately $600 million gross-to-net reserve.
• Own monthly and quarterly close processes and business forecast updates.
• Partner with healthcare systems, channel management, strategic customer group finance, commercial finance, and other stakeholders to analyze contracting and distributor behavior.
• Develop analytics covering end-user sales, net trade sales, distributor inventory, pricing risks, and gross profit opportunities.
• Create mitigation strategies for pricing risks and improve reporting, planning cycles, communication, and data integrity.
• Complete accurate SKU-level journal entries and support audits, compliance activities, and finance process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; accounting or finance degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of business experience required.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, interpersonal, financial analysis, business partnering, and stakeholder influence skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, and take leadership roles.
• Root cause analysis, issue resolution, and understanding of end-to-end processes required.
• Understanding of US GAAP, J&J finance methodologies, AI concepts and frameworks, responsible AI practices, and effective prompt generation preferred or required as described in the qualifications.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, MBA, or other financial certification.
• Experience with budgeting, econometric models, financial risk management, Microsoft Office, and operational excellence.
