Electrical Journeyman

What you will do

• Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and equipment.
• Install wireways, conduits, and cable trays according to NEC standards and customer specifications.
• Perform utility wire connections, thread conduit, and fabricate raceway systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and layout drawings.
• Maintain tools and equipment, keep work areas organized, and follow safety protocols.
• Train and mentor employees on the assigned shift and participate in safety meetings.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience.
• Vocational or technical degree in electrical technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience with commercial and industrial equipment, including MCCs, substation switchgear, and VFDs.
• Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Master or Journeyman Electrician License preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
