What you will do
- Install, alter, repair, and replace electrical systems, conduit, wiring, connections, and control devices.
- Diagnose and correct electrical malfunctions, including low-voltage circuit issues.
- Maintain and troubleshoot air-conditioning controls and industrial electrical equipment.
- Perform pole line work and switchgear maintenance.
- Program variable frequency drive units and perform preventive maintenance.
- Follow electrical procedures and safety practices that protect people, equipment, and the environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- At least 2 years of experience in chemical, manufacturing, construction, or related work.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems from 480 volts to 4160 volts.
- Advanced knowledge of NFPA 70E requirements and the ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and call-outs.
