Journeyman Electrician (2nd Shift)

Location: Reed City, Michigan, United States; onsite, full time, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, conduit, wiring, lighting, motors, control systems, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues using blueprints, schematics, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns, maintain repair records, and update electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, company safety policies, and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel, engineers, production staff, contractors, and vendors while supporting junior electricians.

Requirements

• Industrial Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.
• At least four years of electrician experience.
• Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical studies or equivalent electrical-based experience.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, safety, detail, and quality skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
