Surgical Technician Student (Surgical Services)

Location: Manchester, NH, United States; onsite in the Main Operating Room

hirify.global operates a large, active operating room department providing comprehensive surgical care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical personnel.

What you will do

• Identify and prepare sterile instruments and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist with surgical team verification, intra-operative procedures, and case closure protocols.
• Review surgical bookings and match procedures to preference cards.
• Select instruments accurately using surgical preference cards.
• Inspect instruments for sterility, safety, and functionality.
• Evaluate the operating room environment to maintain the sterile field and respond to emergencies.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in the Elliot CST Apprenticeship Program is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• New Hampshire Medical Technologist registration is required unless another current New Hampshire state license is held.
• Availability for the 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Monday–Friday shift.
