Surgical Laser Technician

Pay range: $15.84–$24.21

What you will do

• Test, clean, and sterilize surgical equipment in the operating room before procedures.
• Remain present in the operating room during procedures and support physician requirements.
• Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize equipment after procedures.
• Communicate equipment defects and maintenance needs to relevant stakeholders.
• Transport equipment and maintain operational readiness of vehicles and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and repeatedly bend, reach, twist, climb, crouch, kneel, and crawl.

Nice to have

• Medical, EMT, surgical technologist, or military experience.
