Operations Supervisor-2nd Shift (Aerospace)

Location: On-site at the hirify.global U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile Area, Alabama; second shift.

hirify.global manufactures commercial aircraft, including A220 and A320 Family aircraft, at its U.S. production facilities.

What you will do

• Lead and oversee manufacturing activities for an A320 Final Assembly Line station during the second shift.
• Manage assigned employees, including staffing, performance management, attendance, development planning, and recognition.
• Coordinate production progress, work materials, tools, jigs, documentation, and handover activities across the station and with relevant functions.
• Act as deputy for the Business Unit Leader and serve as an escalation point for off-shift emergencies and operational issues.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, KPI, and continuous improvement objectives, including AOS activities and quality gates.
• Mentor Lead Technicians and collaborate with Quality, Procurement, Training, and other support functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least four years of experience in aviation, manufacturing engineering, assembly processes, production methods, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of aviation manufacturing quality and logistics rules, quality management systems, and industry safety practices.
• Effective spoken and written English communication skills for a multicultural and multifunctional environment.
• Ability to plan, organize, manage complex information, make operational decisions, and work with production management systems.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required; SAP, MES, and HMS experience preferred.

• Two to five years of aviation leadership experience.
